Sharing songsheets & sing-along recordings of the local songs shared at each “Lend an Ear” session in the “Taking Flight” series, which is supported by Leitrim County Council and Creative Ireland.
The October 2024 Session was held in Kiltoghert Community Centre with special guest, Seanchaí, Vincent Pierse.
The December 2024 Session was held in Boyce’s Café, Mohill and was a nice mix of children and adults with our guests being the Bornacoola Ballad Group, Nessa Finnerty with a recitation and members of Carrick Trad singers who sang and taught three songs to the group.
And a little reminder of the way things were – Mohill 1965…
